This outdoor concert in the wide open meadows of a local ranch features Nashville underground musician Travis Meadows. Travis is overwhelmingly recognized in songwriter circles as a true artist and unforgettable performer, raising chills with his raspy-voiced storytelling and heartrending confessionals. The rawness of his words and vocals rise up from a deep well of honesty, chiseled through pain and loss, death and rebirth. A Mississippi childhood; learning to drink his coffee black in dives off the highway; his battles with cancer, alcohol, drugs, God and demons are all characters in his music. Originally from Jackson, Travis laid the foundation for his career making the rounds at local bars and clubs, performing with legendary blues players. His songs have been recorded by country music icons and rockers alike such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr. and Wynonna Judd, among many others. Rolling Stone Country exclaims of Travis, “Nashville’s most badass songwriter … has penned some of country’s most stinging songs.” A cash bar is available. 7:00 p.m. $20
