Dream Catchers
This Native American tradition dates back generations. Intended to protect the sleeping person from negative dreams reaching them during slumber, the dream catcher catches and tangles bad dreams in the web, while allowing good dreams through the center hole to flow down the feathers to the dreamer below. As the sun rises, the bad dreams dissolve from the web. With instructor, Tori Carpenter, create your own dream catcher with wooden hoops and found natural objects (feathers, arrowheads, beads, shells, leather, lace etc.). Supplies are included, however, attendees are encouraged to bring any special items they would like to incorporate into their work – precious stones, fabric, beads, etc. Instructor: Tori Carpenter.
