Cyanotype Flags
In the spirit of Independence Day, join Kimbre Woods, local photographer and owner of the Midnight Gallery to make American flags using cyanotype, one of the oldest photographic printing processes.
Cyanotype is an iron-based process where students use non-toxic chemicals to create photographic fabric. Cyanotype photograms are produced not by taking photos in the traditional sense, but rather by using negatives to block light on the surface of your paper as the chemicals develop in the sunshine.
The is the perfect opportunity to make something unique and special, just in time for the 4th of July parade! Instructor: Kimbre Woods.
