During a-once-in-a-lifetime opportunity over three days, learn the ancient Luted Crucible method of lost-wax metal casting to create your own jewelry. Transform ephemeral wax models into timeless bronze objects using pure beeswax, fine clay, silica sand, rice hulls, charcoal, pure copper, and tin to make a bronze alloy. Fire pieces in a below ground furnace before finishing them with metal working tools and patinas. Register by 4 p.m. October 9.
